Observation

Staff were missing documentation of Basic STARS and/or the required health and safety training from their files. 1 staff member that was observed to have Safe Sleep Training expired on 7/11/2022 (need to ensure other staff have updated current training as well). Need to ensure that all staff that do not have Basic/Initial STARS complete the 110-300-0106 trainings and trainings are reflected in MERIT and verified via the Portal. Also need to ensure that certifications for Food Handlers, CPR/First Aid and BBP which are not trainings on the Portal are documented in MERIT for all staff for future verifications. 1 of the 2 files reviewed the staff member had an expired Food Handler's Permit.
